On November 8, we rendered honors at the funeral of Antoni Januz Dabrowski, a soldier of the AK (National Army, and the 2nd Polish Corps) that took place in the Ntra.Sra.del Remedio Cemetery in Alicante.
The ceremony was attended by his relatives and close friends, as well as the Polish Military Attaché, Captain Dorota Stachura.
In the grave, where his wife Mª Soledad Pernas, who died in September 2021, also rests, a Polish flag, a bouquet of white and red flowers and an icon of the Virgin were placed next to the urn with Antoni’s ashes from Czestochowa.
To conclude the ceremony, the Polish National Anthem and the Spij Kolego
funeral call were played.
On Saturday 12, several members of PFTF were at the Militaria Fair “Not Only Militaria” showing uniforms from the period of Polish Independence and War against the Bolsheviks (1918-1920) and the Warsaw Uprising of 1944.
On the morning of November 13 we pay honors at the Holy Mass for the inauguration of the Chapel of Saint John Paul II in the Almudena Cathedral.
The act was attended by the Deputy Foreign Minister Piotr Wawrzyk and authorities from the Embassy of Poland and the Polish Institute of Culture.
On Sunday afternoon we attended the Reception commemorating the Independence of Poland that took place at the Embassy of Poland, where we were able to greet Deputy Minister Piotr Wawrzyk.
We also attended the concert organized by the Polish Institute of Culture at the Almudena Cathedral.

Queridos AmigosEl 8 de Noviembre rendimos honores en el entierro de Antoni Januz Dabrowski, soldado del AK (Ejercito nacional, y del 2º Cuerpo Polaco) que tuvo lugar en el Cementerio de Ntra.Sra.del Remedio de Alicante.
Al acto asistieron sus familiares y allegados, también asistió la Agregada Militar de Polonia, Capitán de Navio Dorota Stachura.
En la sepultura, donde tambien reposa su esposa Mª Soledad Pernas, fallecida en septiembre de 2021, junto a la urna con las cenizas de Antoni se depositó una bandera de Polonia, un ramo de flores blancas y rojas y un icono de la Virgen de Czestochowa.
Para concluir la ceremonia se tocó el Himno Nacional Polaco y el toque fúnebre Spij Kolego.
El sábado 12, varios miembros de PFTF estuvieron en la Feria de Militaria
No Solo Militaria” mostrando uniformes del periodo de la Independencia de Polonia y Guerra contra los Bolcheviques (1918-1920) y del Levantamiento de Varsovia de 1944.
En la mañana del 13 de Noviembre rendimos honores en la Santa Misa con motivo de la inauguración de la Capilla de San Juan Pablo II en la Catedral de la Almudena. Al acto asistieron el Viceministro de Exteriores Piotr Wawrzyk y autoridades dela Embajada de Polonia e Inst.Polaco de Cultura.
En la tarde del domingo asistiimos a la Recepción conmemorando la
Independencia de Polonia tuvo lugar en la Embajada de Polonia, donde pudimos saludar al Viceministro Piotr Wawrzyk.
También asistimos el concierto organizado por el Instituto Polaco de Cultura en la Catedral de la Almudena.
