On May 5th, 6th and 7th, the VI Edition of Expohistórica took place in Belorado.
We had the opportunity to participate, showing uniforms of the 10th Dragoons of the 1st Polish Armored Division, of the Female Auxiliaries of the Polish Army in North Africa and of the Polish Army in France of General Haller “The Blue Army”, in France in 1917. The latter are paid for by the Polish Institute of Culture in Madrid, with which we have a collaboration agreement.
We were able to explain to the existing audience the history of the Blue Army and the Polish 1st Armored Division, and we staged the liberation of the Dutch city of Breda in October 1944 by Polish troops.
We thank the Belorado City Council, the organization, the Beliforans and our fellow re-enactors for their collaboration and support.
On May 11th, a PFTF representation attended a reception at the Polish Embassy in Madrid on the occasion of the celebration of the national holiday of the Polish Constitution of May 3 (the first European constitution).
Prior to the reception, in a ceremony presided over by Secretary of State Jan Dziedziczak, Mr. Carlos Olbracht Habsburgo-Lothario (officer in the Polish-Soviet War of 1920, in the World War II and member of the AK) and with the Commander’s Cross of Polonia Restituta to his wife Dª.Alicia Elżbieta Habsburgo (member of the AK). The decorations were collected by his daughter, Dª. Renata Habsburg.

Los días 5, 6 y 7 de mayo, tuvo lugar la VI Edición de Expohistórica en Belorado.
Tuvimos la oportunidad de participar, mostrando uniformes del 10º de Dragones de la 1ª División Acorazada Polaca, de Auxiliares Femeninos del Ejército Polaco en el Norte de África y del Ejército Polaco en Francia del General Haller “El Ejército Azul”, en Francia en 1917. Éstos últimos sufragados por el Instituto Polaco de Cultura en Madrid, con el que tenemos un acuerdo de colaboración.
Al público existente pudimos explicarle la historia del Ejército Azul y de la 1ª División Acorazada Polaca, y escenificamos la liberación de la ciudad neerlandesa de Breda en octubre de 1944, por las tropas polacas.
Agradecemos al Ayuntamiento de Belorado, a la organización, a los beliforanos y a nuestros compañeros recreadores su colaboración y apoyo.
El día 11 de Mayo una representación de PFTF asistió a la recepción en la Embajada de Polonia de Madrid con motivo de la celebración de la fiesta nacional de la Constitución Polaca del 3 Mayo (la primera constitución europea).
Previamente a la recepción, en una ceremonia presidida por el Secretario de Estado Jan Dziedziczak, se condecoró a título póstumo con la Gran Cruz de Polonia Restituta a D.Carlos Olbracht Habsburgo-Lotario (oficial en la Guerra Polaco-Soviética de 1920, en la Segunda Guerra Mundial y miembro del AK) y con la Cruz de Comandante de Polonia Restituta a su esposa Dª.Alicia Elżbieta Habsburgo ( miembro del AK ). Las condecoraciones las recogió su hija, Dª. Renata Habsburgo.
