Raport z Hiszpanii – Poland First to Fight

Dear Friends,

We would like to inform you about our recent activities to promote Polish history and preserve the traditions of the Polish Armed Forces and Police.

 On November 28th, we participated in the concert “Scenes from the Warsaw Uprising,” with the associations Krakus and Polonia Domus Nostra, and in collaboration with the Embassy of Poland. At this concert, we were honored to have in the audience the Consul of Poland in Madrid, Ms. Domanska, representatives from the Torrejón de Ardoz City Council, and descendants of two members of the Armia Krajowa (Home Army) who lived and died in Spain after the war, and whom we had the privilege of meeting: Jerzy Radlodski-Nowak and Antoni Dabrowski “León,” a member of the Baszta Battalion who fought in the Uprising.

On December 3rd, we had the privilege of attending the commemorative celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the Polish National Police, held at the Embassy of Poland.

On December 20th, we carried the flag and attended the Advent Mass at the Church of the Holy Family in Torrejón de Ardoz.

Os informamos sobre nuestras últimas actividades para difundir la historia de Polonia y preservar las tradiciones de las Fuerzas Armadas y de la Policia Polacas.

El 28 de noviembre participamos en el Concierto “Escenas del Levantamiento de Varsovia”, con las asociaciones Krakus y Polonia Domus Nostra, y la colaboración de la Embajada de Polonia. En este concierto, tuvimos el honor de contar entre el público con la presencia de la Cónsul de Polonia en Madrid, Sra. Domanska, representantes del Ayuntamiento de Torrejón de Ardoz y descendientes de dos miembros del Armia Krajowa que vivieron y murieron en España después de la guerra, y a quienes tuvimos el privilegio de conocer: Jerzy Radlodski-Nowak y Antoni Dabrowski “León”, miembro del Batallón Baszta que luchó en el Levantamiento.

El 3 de diciembre, tuvimos el privilegio de asistir a la celebración conmemorativa del aniversario de la fundación de la Policía Nacional Polaca, celebrada en la Embajada de Polonia.

El 20 de diciembre, custodiamos la bandera y asistimos a la Santa Misa de Adviento en la Iglesia de la Sagrada Familia en Torrejón de Ardoz.
