Dear Friends,
On November 13th we were in Segovia, invited by the Polish Karol Wojtyła Association, to share the celebration of Poland’s Independence with the students from their school.
We were able to remember the heroes who fought for independence, we talked about what life was like under the German occupation, about the Warsaw Uprising, the army in exile, the Polish Pilots, and the Battle of Britain…
The students were also able to see a demonstration of first aid with the precarious means that a female health officer at the front could have at her disposal during the Warsaw Uprising.
The act concluded, how could it be otherwise, with singing the Hymn and with a meal to which our hospitable hosts invited us.All the attendees of Poland First to Fight enjoyed the day very much and we greatly appreciate the invitation of the Polish Karol Wojtyła Association
Thank you for their invitation!
Best regards / Saludos Alberto Trujillo Asociación Hco-Cultural Poland First to Fight
Queridos Amigos
